Fuck. It’s been a minute.
This week’s Free Bread 5 Piece is all bangers… omgomgomg.
First up is P-Lo featuring Pluto Mars with “Never Sorry” off of his album More Than Anything that he just dropped. The eery piano mixed with P-Lo & Pluto’s effortless and melodic vocal performances create the foundation for a club-ready banger. MIKNNA recruits Callum Connor for “Cues“. The upbeat tribal vibe got me fucked up, this shit clean and needs to be played all memorial day weekend whilst off the dog water (Hennessy). “Butterfly Effect” has been stuck in my head since Travis Scott dropped it. The Murda Beatz produced record has an aqua sounding synth over his signature drums, Travis floats as per usual. JT the 4th might have the catchiest song in the Bay Area right now. “ROM” produced by Daddieron Beats, refers to presidential candidate Mitt Romney, “in the house like Romney”. Please don’t sleep on this record. Last but not least is “S.O.S.” by Jack Marzilla. What may sound like a typical trap beat and soft high register vocals is much more. This dude’s tone and produced instrumental give us a much more mature sound. Check out the tracks above and stay tuned next week for another Free Bread 5 Piece.
