Rising from the depths of the underworld,  The 6’4 leather, lace, and lipstick wearing Demigod is back with a new banger, Persona.

Persona is the first song released from Kossisko’s new Ep: Maldoror 1,  which is the first installment of a 3part series of Ep’s that Kossisko has been working on since the release of Red, White, N Cruel. On Persona, Kossisko rides a whole new wave. The beat, which was produced by Grammy award winner Cole M.G.N., infuses the sounds of 80’s rock n roll with modern day trap music, all the while you hear Kossisko provides a melody reminiscent of the late Rick James, as he confesses his need to know his lover on deeper level. His desire for his lover to expose themselves past the facade that is their persona.

To breathe visual life into his dark and spell binding audio, Kossisko enlisted the help of rising cinematographer Logan Fields, to proivde a Sci-fi Horror aestethic to the video.

After indulging in Persona in its entirety, it’s clear that Kossisko continues to grow as a creative.

“Maldoror 1 is the beggining of a new chapter for me,” says Kossisko. “My new direction is inspired by a lot of sh*t, but my main influences are Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Rick James, Bobby Brown, and the painter Francis Bacon.”

As Kossisko continues to navigate his way through his many forms of expression, fans should trust for him to deliver content that speaks directly to the core of the listener.
